Music community frets about life without Southgate... →
I’ve gone to shows at countless clubs all over the country, but I’ve never been to a venue I love as much as the Southgate House in Newport, Ky. The news this week that the grand old palace is closing makes my heart ache. The last performance I saw at the Southgate House was the Twilight Singers show back in May. Wish I could remember the very first show I attended there.
